Performance assessment on manufacturing of unfired bricks using industrial wastes

This paper presents eco-friendly unburnt bricks made up of fly ash, waste plastic powder, glass lime, gypsum and crusher sand as alternatives to conventional burnt clay for sustainable development. The research focuses on the maximum utilization industrial in brick production. Materials are characterized according their chemical geotechnical properties. In this research, we use a milled powder size less than 600μm obtained from added along with crushed sand, gypsum, lime ash various mix proportions concerning FaL-G concept. All were taken weight basis. Compressive strength, water absorption, efflorescence key parameters chosen comparing innovative brick. There five different mixes (Type A, B, C, D & E) research. powders replaced by at increased rate 2% every whereas 2%,4%,6%,8%, 10%. It was found that type B have 17.63% strength when compared base mix. From test results, enhanced mechanical performance all other mixes.
